The Criminal Record reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time without notice, for a breach thereof, and in the event of such cancellation, advertiser agrees to pay all amounts due at the time of such cancellation.

Financial obligations owed to
The Criminal Record must be cleared before advertising will be accepted for future issues.

An advertiser wishing to cancel an ad must do so on or before the regular deadline.  Failure to give notice by that time does not release the advertiser from responsibility for payment of the ad space reserved.

If the terms of the advertising contract are not fulfilled by the expiration date, or canceled by the advertiser, The Criminal Record may bill the difference between contracted and used rates.

It is understood and agreed that the publisher is not bound by any verbal agreement.

This contract covers only the regular business of the advertiser, and is not transferable; two or more separate advertisers are not permitted to combine insertions to secure space or rates.

It is understood that any waiver of the terms in this contract by the publisher for the convenience of the advertiser does not prevent the publisher from subsequently enforcing all the terms herein.

In the event it becomes necessary to initiate legal or collection action under the terms and agreements herein, the advertiser agrees to pay reasonable interest, attorney fees and other expenses sustained by the publisher in pursuing such action.

Liability
The Criminal Record's liability for error shall be limited to the portion of the ad affected by the error. The Criminal Record shall not be liable for typographical errors that do not lesson the value of the advertisement, or for other errors unless corrected copy was received before deadline.

Requests for adjustments must be made within four (4) working days of publication of the ad. Any credit or make-good will be given for the first insertion only.
The Criminal Record does not offer refunds.

Contract and Copy Regulations
If the publisher or advertising manager agrees to print ad copy supplied to The Criminal Record after deadline, the advertiser waives the right to receive proof. The Criminal Record is not responsible for errors in late copy.

Special placement may be purchased for an additional 15% of the cost of the ad, assuming
The Criminal Record's regular format permits. Reserved space may be purchased on pages other than the front page. Space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
